THE FIRST-CLASS EXPERIENCE

Everybody starts somewhere. Here’s what happens next.

Come as you are. We build skills one step at a time, so you can enjoy learning even if you’ve never danced before.

01

Arrive and settle in.

Find our sign at the Gladstone Community Club. We’ll help you get oriented, answer a few questions, and take care of your first-class admission.

02

Start with the fundamentals.

We’ll introduce the rhythm and simple movement ideas you’ll use in class. You don’t need to memorize an entire routine to enjoy your first class.

03

Practice together, and independently.

Some exercises work individually, and others use partners. We ask everyone, including couples, to rotate partners so they can learn to adapt and apply their skills.

04

Leave with something you can use.

We want you to understand at least one practical concept and feel a little more comfortable moving with the music.

05

Decide whether you’d like to continue.

Enjoyed the class? We can help you pick a regular weekly home class and set up your membership right in the studio. No advance membership is needed to try your first class.

You’re allowed to be a beginner.

It’s completely normal to feel unsure at first. We’re here to teach, not to expect you to already know how to dance.

FEEL AT HOME BEFORE YOU ARRIVE
